About Legacy Medical

Legacy Medical Supply is a family-owned business built on a tradition of service, trust, and dedication to the healthcare community.

For more than 30 years, we have proudly supplied high-quality medical equipment to healthcare professionals and allied health students across the United States.

Our story begins with John E. Pancratz, who met his wife, Louise, while serving as U.S. Army medics during World War II.

After returning home, John combined his medical experience with an entrepreneurial vision to found Chicago Hospital Supply in Wheeling, Illinois. That business remained family-owned and operated for over 40 years, employing three of their seven children and establishing a strong foundation rooted in integrity and service.

In 1996, their son Kevin carried that legacy forward by founding The Medical Store, focusing on supporting medical education programs. Today, Kevin’s son, John, and his wife, Christine, proudly own and operate Legacy Medical Supply — continuing a family tradition that spans nearly 80 years.

Over the decades, we have built lasting relationships with hundreds of U.S. medical schools, physician assistant programs, and nursing schools. We understand the unique needs of both students and professionals, and we are committed to making the process of acquiring essential medical equipment simple, reliable, and affordable.

We offer a carefully curated selection of trusted, high-quality brands, including Littmann stethoscopes, Welch Allyn diagnostic equipment, and Wink scrubs. Our goal is straightforward: provide the best products at competitive pricing, backed by customer service that is second to none.

At Legacy Medical Supply, our mission has never changed — to deliver reliable equipment, dependable service, and fast, accurate fulfillment.

It’s our way of caring for the people who care for others.
